Brandi Knight – Hygienist
Brandi was born in Gulfport, MS and raised in Kiln, MS where she still resides with her family. She received her dental hygiene education at Pearl River Community College and is a licensed RDH in the State of Mississippi. Brandi has been practicing dental hygiene for 4 years.
The most rewarding aspect of dentistry for Brandi is being able to help people to lead healthier lives and be more confident in themselves as a result of their dental care. Brandi loves horses and has an accomplished record in many rodeo events throughout her elementary, junior high and high school years. She hopes her 2 young sons, Blaine and Jaxson, will love it as much as she does! Her husband, Eric, does too!
Dana- Office Manager
Dana was born in New Orleans, LA and has lived in Waveland since 1990. She attended St. Clare, Our Lady Academy and graduated from Bay High in 2001. She joined Diamondhead Dental Clinic in the Summer of 2007 and absolutley loves her job! She can help you with any insurance or billing questions that you may have. She is married to Steven since 2007 and has a long-haired chihuahua named Gracie. They enjoy spending time at the beach, live music, and especially love watching the Saints!
Karyn- Patient Coordinator
Karyn is originally from Natchitoches, LA. She moved with her family in 1987. Karyn graduated from Bay High School in 1991 and received her B.S. in Nursing from The University of South Alabama in 1996. She is married to Duncan Matheson IV since 1999 and has 2 daughters, Hayden and Avery. She has been with the clinic since Spring of 2011. When she is not enjoying being a mom, she loves to spend time on the river with friends and family.
Lana – Dental Assistant
Lana was born in New Orleans, LA but was raised in Picayune, MS where she graduated from high school. Lana has been a dental assistant at the Diamondhead Dental Clinic since 1991. (What? Lana must have starting working at age 10 – is that true Lana?)
Lana is married to her husband, Steve and has 3 children with lots of activities and events. She enjoys parades, the beach, water sports and watching football games – Go LSU!
All aspects of general dentistry interest Lana and she has a wealth of expertise and knowledge. She will help make your dental care more relaxed and enjoyable.
Michelle- Dental Assistant
Michelle was born in New Orleans and moved to Diamondhead in 2004. She has been a dental assistant since 1998 and with Diamondhead Dental since Spring of 2011. She has 2 daughters, Laynie and Kaylie, and Fiance Steve. She enjoys live music, spending time with her family, and loves watching the Saints!
Tami Welsh – Hygienist
Tami was born and raised in Bogalusa, LA. Her parents had a camp on the river in Bay St. Louis so she visited frequently as a youngster. She received her B.S. degree in Dental Hygiene from LSU School of Dentistry and has practice dental hygiene in 1993 .
The most favorite part of daily practice for Tami is treating our patients. She says, “I just love my patients!” When not in the dental office, Tami enjoys camping and also loves al water sports.
Tami has been married since 1995 and that she has 2 children , a daughter and a son.
We are especially interested in making all our patients feel right at home! We put your needs first to achieve efficient and comprehensive treatment. Our staff is trained and skilled, and we strive to provide energetic and fun-loving service to each patient. Each member of our treatment team is a registered assistant, and our office staff has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care. We strive to stay abreast of the latest in technological advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars.
